DAY 29—Loving God brings an assurance to us that everything is going to be all right.

There is an assurance that comes to those who Love God. It is then we begin knowing He has a purpose for our lives. God Himself supplies His marvelous Love out of Who He is. There is no person created in all the world for whom God has no purpose. It is a matter of our opening ourselves to His Love and of yielding to His purpose. Now, see what Paul had to say about this.

Romans 8:28—And we know that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER for good to them that Love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. (we know comes from the Greek word, oída. This is a kind of knowing that is so settled and sure that nothing can contradict it. all things. Just simply know this: there is no realm, nothing, outside of “all things.”And, work together comes from suneŕgo. They tell us that... the combined energy of everything that comes into our lives join forces to bring about good. Just think of it! Everything! What is the qualification for this being so? Just simply that we Love God and that we believe He has a purpose for us.

HEAVENLY FATHER, I do Love You. And I do believe You have a purpose for me. Sometimes I haven’t known what that purpose is, but I am willing to let You bring it to pass, even if I don’t understand it completely. By faith in my heart, I ask You to bring to pass the purpose You have for me. Please do this also in these I hold before You.
